This puzzle was not fun, the image didn’t make for entertaining assembly at all. The fit wasn’t great either and it was an all-around pain in my behind until I was able to finish it and get it off my table.
Mega Puzzles aren’t a premium brand, and I knew that going in, but this one was the worst quality of theirs that I’ve found. I usually don’t have a problem with them for the most part, but this was a bad picture mixed with bad chipboard and it didn’t add up to entertainment.
All pieces looked like a variation of these, not easy to work with. The best part of this puzzle was giving it away! 😉
So if the puzzle was that bad, why did you finish it instead of just saying its crap and Im not going to waste any more time on it? LOL. Life is too short to finish crappy puzzles…at least in my opinion anyway! Hee hee

You’re right, and normally I do. But it was a gift from my daughter, so I felt a pressure to assemble it so as not to hurt her feelings. Being only 300 pieces it was a sacrifice I was willing to make for my baby girl. 💗

Okay that makes more sense. 🙂

I find painterly style puzzles to be extremely difficult because you can’t look at a piece and easily figure out which part of the image it belongs too. All those palm trees would have made me cry in frustration.

I feel the same way. I try to avoid images like that, but this was a gift. I didn’t cry in frustration, but I think I called it a few naughty words when I put in the last piece. 🤬😇

It’s a nice picture, but this painting style doesn’t work for puzzles.
