March

Quilt Blocks
Common Quilt Blocks – Cobble Hill – 1000 pieces

The first puzzle completed this month was so wonderfully entertaining and fun, I hope that bodes well for all the puzzles I do in March! Fantastic quality, image, and assembly!

The Retrievers
The Retrievers by Greg Cuddiford – Buffalo – 750 pieces

Much easier and much cuter than it looked at first! Dog puzzles are almost always so adorable it’s difficult to walk away from them!

Classic Games
Classic Games by Lois B. Sutton – White Mountain – 550 pieces

Another insomnia puzzle, when you get up in the middle of the night it’s amazing how much puzzling you can get done! I had a great time with this one, but it was more difficult than it looks. Lots of fun though. 🙂

The Bookshop
The Bookshop by Aimee Stewart – Ravensburger – 1000 pieces

I assembled this entire puzzle without knowing that it was an Aimee Stewart! No wonder it was so compelling for me! Great image, beautiful quality, an all around good time was had by all. 🙂

Songbirds
Stained Glass Songbirds by Ciro Marchetti – Buffalo – 500 pieces

Stunningly beautiful puzzle that went together much too quickly. I would love this in a larger piece count. Great quality, excellent artwork.

Trix
Trix – White Mountain – 100 pieces

Good quality White Mountain puzzle, put it together quickly while waiting for my timer to go off so I could go pick up groceries. Silly rabbit, Trix puzzles are for kids (and grownups)!

Welcome Home
Welcome Home – Re-marks – 1000 pieces

This puzzle went together in one day, and I had a fantastic time! All the background colors were easy to pick out, and all that fur wasn’t nearly as difficult as I’d imagined. Another adorable puzzle full of sweet doggie faces. 🐶

Skate Night
Skate Night by Aimee Stewart – Buffalo – 300 pieces

I absolutely adored this puzzle, and it made me sad because it was over way too quickly. It would make a fantastic 1000, 1500, or 2000 piece puzzle. Please Buffalo Games, can we have this image in a larger piece count!

Cake Shed
Cake Shed by Steve Read – Buffalo – 2000 pieces

I enjoyed this one much more than I thought I would, which is always a wonderful surprise. Great quality, beautiful image = fantastic assembly. This was my 50th puzzle of the year, an excellent one too. 🙂

Cinnamon Toast
Cinnamon Toast Crunch – White Mountain – 100 pieces

I’m loving these cereal box puzzles, they’re so much fun! At only 100 pieces I could do them all in one day, if I weren’t saving them to do in between larger puzzles. I’m a bit sad there are only six of them. 😦

Fishing, Sailing
Fishing, Sailing and Catching Frogs by Bonnie White – MasterPieces – 500 pieces

I loved this puzzle much more than I thought I would. Great quality, great image, and a wonderfully fun assembly.

Baskets
Baskets – Milton Bradley – 500 pieces

I put this one off for quite a while because I knew it would be difficult – it was even more difficult than I expected. Still, I enjoyed the challenge of it and although it isn’t a typically “pretty” image, it made for fun puzzling. 🙂

Stacey & Ruth
Stacey & Ruth – Mr. Bob Puzzles – 651 pieces

My beautiful momma and me on my wedding day, this puzzle means so much to me. I had a fantastic time assembling it, and I felt mom with me the whole time – I miss her terribly. Mr. Bob Puzzles did a beautiful job making a puzzle that I will keep with me forever.

Rainy Day Sketch
Rainy Day Sketch by Tricia Reilly-Matthews – Sunsout – 500 pieces

This adorable puzzle is cute to look at, but wasn’t as much fun to assemble. The fit was terrible, and the shiny finish made glare an issue especially with the darker pieces. Disappointing.

Vintage Holiday
Vintage Holiday – Milton Bradley (Big Ben) – 1000 pieces

This was much less difficult than I’d assumed, but no matter, it was great fun! It’s quite old-fashioned, but still beautiful and entertaining.

Fabulous Las Vegas
Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas by Charles Fazzino – TCG – 300 pieces

This Charles Fazzino rendition of Las Vegas made for a pretty darn fun puzzle! The colors and interesting and funny places shown were quite entertaining. Don’t be put off by the brand, the quality was VERY good!

Cheerios
Cheerios – White Mountain – 100 pieces

I really do love these little 100 piece cereal puzzles. They’re perfect for a quick puzzle fix when I’m not in the mood to start a larger one, or after I’ve just completed a big puzzle. Cute image, good quality, entertaining all around.

Air Mail
Air Mail – Re-marks – 500 pieces

I loved this puzzle from the first piece to the last. Collages truly are my happy place, and this one was no different. Great quality Re-marks puzzle.

Quilting Country
Quilting Country by Eric Dowdle – MasterPieces – 1000 pieces

How fitting to start and end the month with a quilt puzzle! I had a great time with this one, and love the look of it. Beautiful quilts, very good quality puzzle. 🙂
