Suess Street – Ravensburger – 1000 pieces

I finally finished a 1000 piece puzzle! Hooray for me! I love this image and had a great time putting it together. So fun!

The Ballet Class by Marlier – Ravensburger – 200 pieces

Another puzzle with missing pieces, although from the box we can tell it’s over 34 years old, so you can blame a piece or two for wandering off. Fun but challenging puzzle. 🙂

IMG_4211
American Puppy by Jim Lamb – Lang – 500 pieces

I love this image, the puppies are so adorable! Alas, the assembly wasn’t as wonderful as we’d hoped and it became quite tedious at times. Still, ain’t it cute???

Ancient Egypt – Sassi Science – 200 pieces

Extremely large puzzle that took over our whole board! Excellent quality informational puzzle for kids that comes with a 32 page booklet to learn all about Ancient Egypt – great idea!

IMG_4213
Dinosaurs – Melissa & Doug – 48 pieces

Last of the 4 puzzles mom and I assembled today. Another VERY big puzzle, 2 x 3 feet! All pieces were there, and it’s already been donated to the school. 🙂

Flower Kaleidoscope by Lori Schory – Ravensburger – 300 pieces

This is so much more beautiful in person, what a fun puzzle! The large pieces make this 300 piece puzzle the same size as most 1000 pieces, it’s pretty impressive! Excellent quality, gorgeous picture. 💐

Heroines – Remarks – 1000 pieces

Super fun collage that only took me a few hours, this is what I needed to get back into my puzzle groove! Great puzzle!

So today I wanted to get all the kid’s puzzles of of my shelf, so I sat down and watched tv while assembling all of them – one after the other. So these 2 puzzles and the 7 others after them were all done in one afternoon. 😎 These puzzles were in the same box, 2 puzzles with 12 pieces each; Ravensburger quality with gorgeous images, fabulous!

Ballet Lesson – Ravensburger – 35 pieces

Almost all of today’s puzzles were Ravensburger, they hold up so well! This was a sweet scene full of future ballerinas; really cute and fun to assemble.

IMG_4238
Winnie the Pooh – Ravensburger – 24 pieces

This is a puzzle with only 24 pieces, but they are HUGE! The finished puzzle measures about 20 x 27 inches, that’s the average size of a 1000 piece puzzle. Wow!

IMG_4240
Little Red Riding Hood – Milton Bradley – 60 pieces

This poor puzzle was assembled after I’d already put together 6 Ravensburgers, how in the world do you compete with that? LOL Still, great colors and piece shapes.

Ballet Lesson – Ravensburger – 100 pieces

Interestingly this puzzle has the same title as another I did earlier today! They are both “Ballet Lesson” and both Ravensburger – funny coincidence. This was a GORGEOUS puzzle and I was sad it was missing a piece, it had a beautiful image enhanced by glitter. Who doesn’t love a little sparkle?

IMG_4243
Snow Leopard by Schim Schimmel – Ceaco – 100 pieces

This is a glow in the dark puzzle, so you’ll have to check out my post on this one to see the “glow” picture – it’s pretty good!

Garden Goodness – Springbok – 1000 pieces

Beautiful collage that was quite fun to put together. Each seed package was just about the perfect size, and I enjoyed every piece from start to finish!

Simple Pleasures by Susan Winget – Ceaco (Cork backed) – 500 pieces

What a fun puzzle! It was a little more complex than the ones I’ve been doing lately, but that’s good. I’m finally getting my good puzzle vibes going again. Very good quality puzzle.

Spice Rack by Charlie Girard – White Mountain – 1000 pieces

Fun thrift store puzzle that was a little more of a challenge than I bargained for, but still spicy and entertaining. 😎

Green Acres by Alan Giana – MasterPieces – 300 pieces

Beautiful image with an interesting random cut. It went together quickly and the colors are just gorgeous.

Springtime Beauty by Kim Norlien – Buffalo – 300 pieces

Mom and I assembled this together, it didn’t take long but it was a little more difficult than it looked – fun though!

IMG_4285
Fawn and Flowers by James Hautman – Buffalo – 300 pieces

Quick puzzle I put together because I was tired of putting black pieces into the 1000 piece puzzle I was working (see below). It made me happy to finish a puzzle that wasn’t terribly difficult. 🙂

IMG_4293
Ruby Red – Schmidt – 1000 pieces

Wow was this a challenge! Over 400 of the pieces were basically just plain black; at times I wanted to quit but I really wanted to see the finished image complete. Isn’t it stunning? I love it!

Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh – Wentworth Wooden Puzzles – 40 pieces

I took a few puzzles to my daughter while she’s in the hospital. My daughter, son-in-law and myself put this one together. I know, it doesn’t take 3 people to put together 40 pieces, but these puzzles aren’t easy and we were all looking for something to do. 🙂
