March

Harbor City by Shanghee Shin – Re-marks – 300 pieces

A pretty fun image for the first puzzle of the month, and great quality too. It’s been more than a year since I’ve put together anything with the artwork of Shanghee Shin, I forgot how enjoyable they are.

Butterflies III – Cra-Z-Art – 500 pieces

Beautiful bright colors and fun shapes made this set of 18 puzzles a joy to put together – the worst part was separating them!

Woodstock Love – Cra-Z-Art – 100 pieces

A quick, fun, colorful puzzle that was the perfect assembly for me at the right time. Loved it! Great quality too.

Exhibit A – MicroPuzzles – 150 pieces

This puzzle went together more quickly than our last bathroom puzzle, but it was really fun. It’s a great image for puzzling, with just enough challenge. We loved it!

Skate Night by Aimee Stewart – Buffalo – 1000 pieces

This is the second time I’ve assembled this image, and the extra pieces made for extra enjoyment. Although it took me longer than usual, it was still great fun.

Songbirds by Neiko Ng – Mudpuppy – 500 pieces

This is a thrift store puzzle that was good quality – but not as much fun as I’d hoped for. Oh well.

Keepsakes by Judy Koenig – Ceaco – 550 pieces

A relatively good quality Ceaco puzzle, but the image wasn’t as entertaining as I’d hoped – it was quite painterly. But it’s finished and it gave me a couple of days worth of puzzling. Not bad for a $2 puzzle.

More Spots!* – Brother Sister – 100 pieces

Quick puzzle to calm my nerves and relax my brain, and it worked. It’s a cute image with very good quality, and what more could you ask for?

Unusual Animals by Allison Strine – Buffalo – 500 pieces

I knew this would be a fun puzzle the moment I saw it – and it was! Great informational and entertaining image by Allison Strine. If there are more puzzles of hers like this out there then I’m definitely in. Loved it!

David Bowie in Outer Space (Where’s Bowie?) by Kev Gahan – Smith Street Gift – 500 pieces

This was a gift from someone, and it’s been around here for several years. I finally got it done! It was more fun than I thought it would be, and was a new (to me) brand as well. Pretty good quality, although pieces fit in places they shouldn’t which I am not a fan of.

Tiny Toy Tops by Alyssa Hemsath Mooney – Milton Bradley – 300 pieces

I misjudged the challenge level of this image – it was much more difficult than I’d bargained for. Still, the finished image is pleasing and it was an enjoyable assembly. 😁

Happy Vibes by Aimee Stewart – Buffalo – 1000 pieces

Beautiful, entertaining puzzle that I had even more fun assembling than I’d hoped. It was the perfect amount of difficulty. 💚

Parisian Charm by David Maclean – Wentworth – 40 pieces

I felt the need for a little wooden puzzle action in my day, so I threw this one together after I finished the Aimee Stewart. Sorry I took the picture at the wrong angle – it’s too shiny.

Retro by Lois B. Sutton – White Mountain – 550 pieces

This was a quick and very entertaining puzzle that I absolutely adored! Almost every image included was familiar to me and in addition to enjoying the assembly I enjoyed the trip down memory lane. Loved this one. 💛

Eggcellent – Buffalo – 1000 pieces

Buffalo’s Vivid Collection puzzles are wonderful to work with; the bright colors make for easy sorting and fun assembly. Add in the great quality and they’re fantastic puzzles!

Barbie Paris Fashion – Ravensburger – 500 pieces

I knew when I ordered this puzzle that I would love it, but I didn’t realize just how much. It was so satisfying to put together – an excellent assembly from the first piece to the last. 🧡

The OG – MicroPuzzles – 150 pieces

Beautiful puzzle image – but this is one of those that looks amazing but is quite challenging to actually assemble. That’s ok though, if all the puzzles I did were too easy I’d become bored very quickly.

Vintage Atlas – Re-marks – 1000 pieces

I absolutely LOVED this assembly, collage puzzles are truly my happy place. Great quality, great image…great fun!

Hansel and Gretel Beware! by Dean MacAdam – Ravensburger – 1000 pieces

When I saw this puzzle I knew it would be fun, and I was right. It was more fun than I thought it would be though, which is always a bonus. Excellent Ravensburger quality and an excellent image made for a wonderful couple days of assembly. 💖

Jungle Selfies by Howard Robinson – Cra-Z-Art – 500 pieces

The sizes of these puzzles were a surprise to me – some were very small and a couple of them were larger than I anticipated. They were all fun to put together though, and that’s what counts!

The Quiltmaker Lady by Charles Wysocki – Buffalo – 1000 pieces

Great puzzle, but much more of a challenge than I thought it would be. It’s the most “painterly” Wysocki puzzle I’ve ever seen, and it made it more difficult for me. Excellent quality puzzle though, and I spent a few days enjoying myself immensely.
