Peacock Garden – eeBoo – 1008 pieces

Another new company that I enjoyed very much! Mom and I worked on this one together, it’s always awesome for me when someone wants to do a puzzle with me. I love being able to spend time together talking and laughing while doing a puzzle – it’s the best! I absolutely loved the quality of this puzzle and the artwork is gorgeous as well. I am definitely getting more eeBoo puzzles!

9/10 of the World’s Largest Puzzle Complete!

I don’t know how it happened, but it’s almost all done! This section was as much fun as I thought – I had a great time assembling it. I’m a little sad that this project is almost over.

Cinque Terre – Buffalo Games (Vivid Collection) – 300 pieces

This puzzle was a fun afternoon project. It’s nice to start and finish a puzzle in one day, especially after working on the big 4000 piece puzzles. I like the big pieces of a 300 piece puzzle, it makes it seem to go so much faster. The Buffalo puzzles are great quality and they have so much to choose from!

Ocean of Dreams by Josephine Wall – Buffalo Games – 1000 pieces

This puzzle is absolutely gorgeous, and it was so much more difficult than I thought it would be. I wanted to give up several times, but I persevered and was finally able to finish it. Absolutely stunning! Josephine Wall has become one of my favorite puzzle artists, and Buffalo adds glitter, who can resist some glitter??

Eastern Bluebird II – Buffalo Games – 500 pieces

I’m not sure why I’ve done so many Buffalo puzzles in a row, it wasn’t something I did consciously. This was a thrift store puzzle that unfortunately wasn’t all there. I picked this one to do with mom one day while I was visiting. 300 and 500 piece puzzles we can get done in one sitting while we talk and laugh. This puzzle image was sharp and beautiful and fit together wonderfully – it made for a fun afternoon hanging out with mom. 🙂

The Talking Jigsaw – The Hospital – Buffalo Games – 560 pieces

I love the Talking Jigsaw puzzles! A logic problem in a jigsaw puzzle, it’s so much fun! This one is the hospital, and I can’t wait to (hopefully) find the beach and city hall editions – maybe more! This puzzle seems to have been completed a lot as the fit was very loose. Nevertheless I enjoyed it very much and am looking forward to doing more talking jigsaws.

An Afternoon Remembered – Ceaco – 500 pieces

I had to attempt this one twice to get it finished. The first time I gave up 😦 But the 2nd time mom and I did it together which made it much more fun, even when it got difficult. Velvet backed pieces made it quite an interesting tactile experience and the end result is a gorgeous image. Thrift store puzzles are so fun!

Seavilians – Ceaco – 100 pieces

Another 100 piece puzzle purchased for a child. Of course I have to check them out to see if all the pieces are there. Sometimes the kid’s puzzles are super fun to do. I guess I’ve never really grown up. 😎

Sugar Plum Fairies – Ceaco – 100 pieces

This puzzle is for children and it was hard! Mom and I laughed over how “not easy” it was – we had to really concentrate. 😮  I’m sure it’s a little too feminine for my grandson, but a puzzle is a puzzle and he might love it!

What If? – Garden Open Day – Ravensburger – 1000 pieces

Ravensburger really is my favorite puzzle manufacturer, I had such a good time doing this puzzle. I love Geoff Tristam’s artwork and the awesome Ravensburger quality. Cartoon puzzles have always been my favorite and this one was no exception. I love the extra challenge of not having a picture to work from and just having to figure out the puzzle on my own. Can’t wait to do the remaining What If’s!

Beer Caps by Charlie Girard – White Mountain – 550 pieces

I do love collages! This was a really fun one from White Mountain, and the smaller 550 piece was random cut instead of grid cut. It made it more challenging, but no less fun. 🙂

Old Time Rockers (Wasgij Destiny #16) by James Alexander – Jumbo – 1000 pieces

I love Wasgij puzzles! The quality is amazing and the puzzles are so much fun to figure out. I guess it’s a good thing I have about 35 or so 1000 piece Wasgij puzzles to be done, huh? Old Time Rockers was a Destiny puzzle, which are always full of great humor. They were hard core rockers in the 70’s, what do they look like now? Can’t recommend Jumbo puzzles (Wasgij in particular) enough.  Love them! 🙂

Birdhouse Celebration by Lori Schory – Sunsout – 1000 pieces

My first completed shaped puzzle! Mom and I were super proud to finish it. It’s beautiful, and it was fun but all in all I think I prefer rectangular or square puzzles. Still a fun time assembling it though, and much nicer Sunsout quality than other puzzles I’ve done. Great thrift store find.

Butterfly – Remarks – 250 pieces

Another awesome thrift store puzzle – and only 250 pieces! I loved how short a time it took us to finish it, but it still held a challenge. The colors were gorgeous and the quality was quite good. I like the Remarks brand. Great puzzle and great assembly!

Halloween Town by Randy Wollenman – Vermont Christmas Company -550 pieces

My first Vermont Christmas Company puzzle and I enjoyed it very much. The pieces were thick and uniquely shaped, the image was adorable, and the assembly was captivating I couldn’t stop once I got started! I love Halloween so much I decided to do this puzzle in March.  😮

Follow Your Nose – Karmin – 500 pieces

This puzzle is adorable and was quite fun to do even the the quality wasn’t stellar. I’ve found that sometimes if the puzzle image is something that you really like or connect with that even a poorer quality puzzle is a fun assembly. The pieces of this puzzle were very thin and they were easily upset if you accidentally bumped up against them. But mom and I still enjoyed assembling it, who doesn’t love Toucan Sam?

Catch of the Day by Roseanne Kaloustian – Puzzle Makers International – 500 pieces

This image was so adorable and the puzzle manufacturer was one I hadn’t done before. Although the pieces were almost all the same shape we enjoyed putting this one together (another puzzle duet with mom). The pieces were thick enough and the image quality was quite good. Another thrift store fun find!

The Mouth of the River! by Graham Thompson (Wasgij Original #12) – Jumbo – 1000 pieces

Another Wasgij – another super fun assembly. This one was quite a bit more difficult than I bargained for, but that just makes for more of a sense of accomplishment when you’re done! Same great Jumbo quality, same great time putting it together. 😉
