On The Board Today…

On The Board
Canvas in progress….

I’m working on the second of two Cloudberries puzzles, and it is much more challenging than Pixels was. But the quality is wonderful and the image is so fun that the challenge is entertaining rather than frustrating.

The white background means that most of the edge pieces are all white, I didn’t even try to put the edge together first; this is one of those puzzles where the edges go on last. It seemed a little odd at first, but the image itself has to lead the assembly. Usually if I try to make a plan I end up having to change it once I look at the pieces and see what jumps out at me.

I’m having a great time with it!

That does look challenging, the white background! I’ve yet to do a Cloudberries. I just went to their website to look and there’s a really pretty one called Flowers, Have fun with your puzzle, Stacey.

I like the look of that one. I’ll have to check out Cloudberry!

I also wanted to express how sorry I was to hear about your mom and all that you went through over these past few months. I truly missed your blog while you were gone. So much of my enjoyment of your stories was hearing how much fun the puzzle posse had together. I hope that all of those fond memories can be of comfort as you start doing puzzles again (and as you try to get back to everyday life).

    Sending warm thoughts.

    1. I’m having a good time, even though that darker globe is giving me a little trouble at the moment. I’m taking a break from it and am back in bed to rest from sitting up. (Is that the dumbest thing you’ve ever heard? It sounds ridiculous that sitting up requires rest afterwards)
