Pretty good progress today. The Beast is almost complete, Cogsworth and Lumiere are connected to the edge, and Mrs. Potts is all done!

I’m officially past the halfway point for this section. Things are moving a little more slowly than usual for me, but it isn’t a race and I’ll get done when I’m done. 😉

Tomorrow I’ll work on the stairs and whatever else catches my eye. I make plans sometimes and then completely throw them out the window because, uh, just because I feel like it. I find it hard to concentrate at times, and sometimes it’s just easier to put in a piece here or there and let the pieces take me where they want me to go. I know that doesn’t make much sense, but it’s the best I can do describing how it goes from time to time.

Creepy Crawlies! – Creative Edge – 100 pieces

I know, another 100 piece puzzle. So what? All puzzles are fun if you ask me, so why not write about them? Well, I can because this blog belongs to me. 😎

This is another thrift store puzzle we bought for my friend’s son that I put together to be sure all the pieces were there. Isn’t this the perfect puzzle for little boys? Bugs are cool! Best part about the picture is that I did the puzzle on a drafting table and the color of the table makes it look like the bug in the top left corner is actually crawling off the puzzle! It makes me laugh every time I look at it. (And thanks to mom for pointing that out to me 🤗)

As an added bonus, it glows in the dark. Wanna see?

I love that the background is what glows, and that there are hidden words you can’t see till it glows. I know, I’m way too excited about this puzzle. Oh well. 🙂

Never heard of Creative Edge, but then I don’t usually do kids puzzles. The pieces are thin, but somewhat sturdy for how thin they are. The image reproduction is quite good, the colors are crisp, and there was no image lift on any of the pieces. Piece shape variety wasn’t bad either. Good to fair quality I would say, but I’m not complaining at all – I had fun assembling it and I’m sure my honorary grandson will have fun too!

Look at Belle’s pretty dress! Luckily (sarcasm) I was up before 4 am and had plenty of time to work on it before I had to leave at 9. 😐

I really am having a great time with this section. I specifically saved Beauty and the Beast and Bambi for last because they looked to me like they’d be the most fun. I was worried that I might get sick of the puzzle after a few sections and wanted to give myself incentive to keep at it, because I saved the best for last. I didn’t need to worry, have never been sick of the puzzle at all; even when I was working on the more difficult sections. So as my reward I have the best sections for last, way to go me!

Belle’s dress wasn’t as difficult as I thought it might be, I had flashbacks of working on Cinderella’s dress for 3 days. 😕 Turns out after putting together almost 35,000 pieces of this puzzle I’ve sorta gotten used to what piece might be next, or what piece shape usually looks like this, etc. So it didn’t seem that difficult and didn’t take nearly as long as I thought.

There’s a bit more yellow to go in the Beast’s vest and Lumiere’s flames. Then I may work on the pale pieces around the edge or perhaps the Beast’s pants. If I can’t sleep again I may be working on both, and maybe more!
