Frenchie by Karen Burke – MasterPieces – 1000 pieces

I really had a good time with this one, I love the artwork by Karen Burke, and it was relatively easy with bright colors and sections that were easy to pick out and put together. The random cut makes it very interesting (at least for me) and I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

MasterPieces has impressed me very much lately, there hasn’t been any quality issues with any of the puzzles I’ve assembled. That’s rare really, at least for me. I can be quite the puzzle snob, and very exacting about what characteristics of a puzzle are important to me. The MasterPieces puzzles I’ve worked since I started back up in April have all been excellent quality all around. Either I’ve been very lucky or their puzzles are getting better – whichever it is, I’ll take it!

Everyone doesn’t love dogs as much as I do, but for those who do – how do you not love that face?! The smooshy little face just makes me want to give belly rubs and kisses!

There were a lot of flowers in this image, and they are usually difficult for me. The colors and placement of each different flower made it easier for me this time around. I might actually start liking them. 😮

Overall this puzzle was entertaining, beautiful, and excellent quality – couldn’t ask for more.

There isn’t much to tell today unfortunately. Yesterday was a bad day for me in the pain department, so there wasn’t much work completed on today’s puzzle. In fact I didn’t get out of bed to actual put puzzle pieces together until almost two in the afternoon!

That’s ok, the little guy in the puzzle knows I love him, and that it will be great fun putting together every last bit of him. Adore this image.😍

Night Owls Study Group by Karen Burke – MasterPieces – 300 pieces

Is this not an adorable image? My son and I loved all the nerd/geek references – being a professed and proud professional puzzle geek myself I am part of that community. Nerds rock!

This puzzle had a rather odd fit that I’m having trouble finding the words to describe. It almost seemed loose when you connected some pieces together, but it is not a loose fit at all. The fit felt “off”, is the best way I can describe it. The pieces didn’t lay flat either, which is not a problem I can ever recall having with a MasterPieces puzzle.

It was like this all over the puzzle – almost like they were warped. Very odd indeed. And then, for a puzzle with and odd fit that feels loose but isn’t and whose pieces did not lay flat…check this out!

I’m telling ya, this was one of the most bizarre fitting puzzles I’ve ever done – and believe me I’ve done a LOT of puzzles!

Father & Son by Karen Burke – MasterPieces – 300 pieces

What a great image, it’s so adorable I don’t even have words to tell you how much I loved it. And with those handsome Boston Terriers is it any wonder that I couldn’t pass this one up? That little guy looks almost exactly like my sweet boy Buddy. 🐶💗

This was the best quality Masterpieces puzzle I’ve done in quite a while; fantastic fit, beautiful and crisp reproduction, and a great variety of shapes with a very nice cut. Usually there’s one thing or another I find with this brand, a loose fit or maybe the occasional problem with the image or cut. This time there wasn’t anything for me to complain about at all – and I love that!

I prefer to spend my time telling you all about great puzzles instead of being disappointed by less impressive ones. It’s more fun to let you all know which ones are awesome – and of course they’re also much more entertaining to assemble.

It was wonderful to put this beauty together – from the first piece to the very last – and I am definitely recommending this one if you can find it. Happy puzzling my friends. 🧩
