What’s In Progress?

For me, nothing just yet. My last puzzle completed is still on the board and I haven’t even taken pictures of it yet; yesterday was spent in bed. But what about you? What’s currently in progress on your puzzle board or table?

Working on something fabulous? I wanna hear all about it!

Frenchie In Progress…

Frenchie by Karen Burke – MasterPieces – 1000 pieces

There isn’t much to tell today unfortunately. Yesterday was a bad day for me in the pain department, so there wasn’t much work completed on today’s puzzle. In fact I didn’t get out of bed to actual put puzzle pieces together until almost two in the afternoon!

That’s ok, the little guy in the puzzle knows I love him, and that it will be great fun putting together every last bit of him. Adore this image.😍

Life’s A Beach In Progress…

Life’s A Beach by Lars Stewart – Buffalo (Night & Day series) – 1000 pieces

This little beauty’s already been more difficult than I thought it might be, but I like that – it keeps me on my toes. When I chose this puzzle it was one of those days where you’re looking for something VERY specific, but you aren’t really sure what that is. Does that make sense to anyone other than myself? I knew I wanted something, but what that was wasn’t very defined in my brain, it was one of those “you know it when you see it” things. Luckily my eyes came to rest on this gorgeous image and here we are!

On the box it says © LARS, but those of us in the know can see just by the image that this is Lars Stewart, Aimee’s boo! (Do the kids even say boo anymore? Whatever. I’m old.) I checked MGL Art just to be sure, and this is most definitely one of his images. I adore the colors, and how everything seems to fit together so seamlessly, it’s just stunning.

The picture above is just one section at the bottom, a little more than halfway across; I’ve also got most of the moon and the mountain on the night side completed, along with the lighthouse and rainbow on the day side. There’s quite a bit of empty space still waiting to be filled up and for some reason the picture looked really odd to me with so much open area, so for right now all you get to see is just this little bit at the bottom.

I’m having a great time and very much enjoying the challenge. What are you puzzling today?

Currently In Progress…

How to Live with an Idiot by Lucia Heffernan – Buffalo – 300 pieces

I wasn’t feeling much like puzzling yesterday, but I got up out of bed and puzzled a bit because I needed something to post today. I had decided on another puzzle by another company, but when I opened the box and saw all the pieces were ballerinas I put it away for another day. Then I saw this little cutie pie and got going.

I love Lucia Heffernan’s images, all the ones I’ve done so far were dogs; this one is mainly cat, but it’s about dogs. Love that fat little pup sitting on a cushion taking a nap! It’s so nice to do an image by an actual artist isn’t it?

Hopefully I’ll be motivated to do more puzzling today, but for now I’m going back to bed.

Happy puzzling today my friends!

Untitled In Progress…

Untitled – Unknown – 150 pieces

I was waiting on a Puzzle Fairy delivery yesterday, so I didn’t want to start any larger piece count puzzles. A micro puzzle is always good for a good time, so this untitled puzzle from an unknown manufacturer seemed like an excellent choice – an adorable puppy face is almost always sure to make me smile, and there are several adorable puppy faces in this one. (Plus, there’s that sweet Boston Terrier in the corner, how in the world can I be expected to pass that up?) 🐾🧡

This way I was still able to put some puzzle pieces together yesterday to center and relax me, but whatever puzzle will be my next inspiration won’t have to wait long at all for me to finish this little guy and have the board ready for more pieces.

Wish I knew where these mini puzzles came from, but honestly there are no clues whatsoever in this aging brain of mine.

*The puzzles arrived, but it was later in the afternoon and I wasn’t even able to open them until this morning. So many puzzles and so much inspiration – thank you Puzzle Fairy! 💚🧚‍♀️
