Pepsi In Progress…

Pepsi – Rose Art – 300 pieces

Another fun collage of sorts, this time it’s Pepsi – one of my favorite drinks. Penny sent this one along for me to do, and I don’t think I realized until I was laying all the pieces out just how much of a challenge this one would be. It’s harder than it looks!

Here’s the best part, the difficulty seems to be what is making it so much fun for me.😁

I sat down to just get started and put a bit together to be sure I had something to post today; but I couldn’t seem to tear myself away from it. I stopped only because I had to get it photographed and typed up before 8 am. All my posts are set to go live at that time, even the in progress ones; and every third day it will automatically be published – whether I’ve typed anything up yet or not. (Yes I could set things up differently, but this way keeps me on my toes and gives me incentive to get myself out of bed, even on those off days when I’m not feeling like it)

That’s just to say that it’s almost 8:00 this morning and I had to make myself stop puzzling and start typing. This puzzle will be done now before you know it, there’s just over two trays left to go!

Fantasy In Progress…

Fantasy – Re-marks – 1000 pieces

As you can see I’ve finally gotten started on the 1000 piece puzzle that I sorted last week, but unfortunately yesterday didn’t go as planned, and I didn’t get very far. Today will be better, I’m sure of it.

Hope your current puzzle is going well, happy puzzling my friends!

Hello Fall In Progress…

Hello Fall – MicroPuzzles – 150 pieces

I know I told you that after the last puzzle there was a 1000 piece all sorted and ready to go, and that’s still true. But I kinda got in my own way here and have taken a small detour before we get to that big’un.

The week hasn’t been much fun for me and there hasn’t been much puzzling. Yesterday was particularly difficult and I spent it almost entirely in bed, but I did get up for a few minutes and got myself into the puzzle room to get a small puzzle that I could do lying down – one of my 80 piece puzzle packs from MicroPuzzles.

But once I got that one finished I kept looking at it to see all the differences between the puzzle packs and their 150 piece test tube puzzles. Which led me to telling myself that I needed to do one of the test tube puzzles so I could show the differences close up in a post. That has led to where I am now, partway through this 150 piece fall puzzle. I didn’t get very far before I ended up back in bed, but it’s a start!

You can’t tell much from my picture, but the image is adorable and looks as though it will be very entertaining and engrossing to assemble. Hopefully after a medication adjustment I’ll be back at the puzzle board in no time. First I gotta finish this little one coffee puzzle so we can all say Hello Fall!

Flight of Creativity In Progress…

Flight of Creativity by Jena Dellagrottaglia – MasterPieces – 300 pieces

After completing the previous puzzle I had no idea what I wanted to do next. All I knew is that I had forgotten to choose and sort the next project and I was NOT in a place where I could sort a 1000 piece puzzle, so I had to pick something with a much smaller piece count to get myself going. Funnily enough I started this puzzle, put in enough pieces to where it was time to sort the next one – and sorted a 1000 piece puzzle all in that same day!

Sadly, that was where it ended; and even though I’m ready to start the next one I’m still recovering this morning from sitting in that puzzle chair for way too long yesterday. I’ve taken my meds and waiting for them to kick in – then we’ll be off to the races today to get this one (hopefully) finished and start on the gorgeous collage that will be next.

This image is beautiful, I love all the colors and sewing supplies, and can’t wait to see it all put together. I’m currently loving all the MasterPieces I’ve done lately, and it looks as though this one has the same great quality. The fit is exceptional and it’s been great fun so far, couldn’t ask for anything more. 😎

Defence… In Progress…

Defence Against the Dark Arts – Wentworth Wooden Puzzles – 500 pieces

I don’t actually have any of this puzzle put together at all, but I did dump all the pieces out onto the puzzle board and have pulled out some whimsies (see above). It’s another puzzle for this Halloween season because when it’s done it’ll be posted in the beginning of October; that’s how far ahead in posts I am at the moment.

I hope to actually get started on this one today, and I hope it’s as much fun as it looks. This is one of my 70% off puzzles I bought a little bit ago. If a Harry Potter puzzle isn’t perfect for Halloween, I don’t know what is. 🎃👻🦇

The title of the puzzle is annoying my computer, because it doesn’t think defence should be spelled with a “c” instead of an “s”; there’s a wavy red line underneath every one letting me know it thinks I ought to change it. Guess what, computer? Not everyone spells everything the same way – deal with it!

So far I’m loving the whimsies, there’s some great ones in there, and probably more to find. I’m looking forward to finding them all and getting to work on this beautiful puzzle.

Happy puzzling today my friends!

**I literally just noticed that Crookshanks the cat is almost completely upside down, it looks like they’re hanging on to the ceiling. Oops. Sorry Crookshanks!**
