Disney & Pixar In Progress

Disney & Pixar Toy Store – Ravensburger – 1000 pieces

I sorted this puzzle before we left on our trip, and it was especially nice coming home to a puzzle all nicely separated and waiting to be assembled. If only I were wealthy enough to be able to hire someone else do my sorting for me! 💲💸

Pretty much all of this work was done on Monday, I spent yesterday going to doctor’s appointments and sleeping for the most part. This second trip has worn me out!

All that’s left now is the staircase on the left and the shelves on the right – it shouldn’t take too much time at all. I’ll have to sneak in a bit of puzzling as I’ve been ordered to stay off my feet with my leg elevated for the next week at least, but hubby isn’t around all the time and I can certainly be allowed a few minutes of puzzling, can’t I?

It’s good for my mental health!

Home Again…

We’re traveling back home today, after another extended stay with family. We had a great time full of memories, laughter, and fun (not to mention a few puzzles).

Just as we’re finishing up with the puzzles from our last vacation here on the blog, we’re coming home from another holiday with more. In a month or so you’ll be seeing the posts of all the wonderful wooden puzzles we put together during this visit – it’s safe to say a fun time was had by all!

I’ll be back at my board this evening, and I am very much looking forward to it. 👵🧩💖

Vacation Puzzle In Progress…

Imagine! by Lana Kissinger – Liberty – 284 pieces

Got started on this gorgeous Liberty puzzle yesterday with some assistance from my beautiful niece who spent the day visiting with me. Liberty’s motto is “Sit Long, Talk Much” and that’s exactly what we did. She’s not a puzzle person for the most part, but she seemed to enjoy looking at the interesting shapes and trying to find ones that fit together. She found a few pieces too, so she officially helped me with this assembly!

I hope she had as much fun as I did, it was lovely to spend the day together. We sat long, talked much, did a little puzzling and enjoyed each other’s company. 💖

What’s Next?

We went to town with the puzzles on Saturday! We completed two smaller wooden ones (one was quite challenging), a micro puzzle that was only 40 pieces, and a 500 piece cardboard puzzle. That was everyone at the house working together; me and hubby and my sister and brother-in-law.

I don’t know what will be next, but we’ve still got quite a few to choose from – although I’m feeling very worn out and lazy today – perhaps there won’t be another one completed for a day or so. I may need to get some rest and focus on doing as little as possible.

What’s next for you? Working on something fun?

More Vacation…

We’re back up in Michigan today to attend a funeral and spend a little more time with family. I’ve got a suitcase with plenty of fun wooden puzzles for us to play with – vacation puzzles are where it’s at! 🧩💕
