Love Stamps 2 In Progress…and Happy Father’s Day!

Love Stamps 2 by Lois B. Sutton – White Mountain – 500 pieces

It’s Father’s Day here in the United States, so I just wanted to give a shout out all the dads out there – Happy Father’s Day! My own dad has been in the hospital twice already this year and he’s almost 80, which has emphasized to me that there are a finite number of days we have left together. Even though I tell him I love him every time we see each other I wanted to take the time today to let him (and everyone out there in blog-land) know how much I love him and that I appreciate him more than he knows. I’m proud to be his daughter; he’s a wonderful man and a great dad and I love him to the moon and back. 💗🌙💗

I chose this puzzle as my next one and had already started sorting it when I finally really looked at the image on the box and saw the “Love you Dad” stamp – could it be more perfect for Father’s Day? Honestly, I didn’t pick this puzzle because of that stamp, it was just a happy little accident, as Bob Ross used to say. 🎨🖼

Literally this stamp and the border is all I have accomplished so far, but I can tell this is going to be an excellent assembly. The fit is lovely, the image reproduction is sharp and clear and it’s just fun to work with. Because today is Father’s Day this is the only stamp that was important to get finished (or nearly so) before I give myself a break to go and rest.

Dads, I hope you have a great Father’s Day today – we appreciate you! Hopefully you’ll have some time to yourself to puzzle, golf, fish, watch sports, scratch all those places that need it, or whatever it is that makes you happy. And… without moms there would be no dads, so Happy Father’s Day to all you moms out there as well. 😉

If it isn’t Father’s Day where you are – Happy Sunday my friends, and happy puzzling!

Happy Mother’s Day

To all the moms out there I wish you a wonderful day filled with love and loved ones. I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday, and if you celebrate Mother’s Day I hope it’s a fabulous holiday for you. As for me, hopefully I’ll be in bed being pampered by the kids and hubby – or sitting in front of my puzzle board putting together little pieces of cardboard or wood to make a pretty picture.

If you’re a mom – thank you for all the wonderful, tedious, brave, boring, gracious, heartbreaking, compassionate, caring, forgiving and loving things you do. Even if it isn’t spoken aloud to you enough (and it never is), it is always appreciated. If you’re not a mom, Happy Mother’s Day anyway!

Enjoy your day everyone; my hope is that it’s full of lots of love and peaceful puzzling.

Of course the picture above is my beautiful, loving, fantastic, silly, sweet, kind momma. She was the first and most important member of my Puzzle Posse and she loved sitting with me and talking about everything and nothing while we worked together on puzzles. I treasure every moment we had no matter what we were doing, her momma mojo was amazing and as friends we were the bestest of besties. It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 7 years since we lost her; she is so very missed – especially today. 💕

Happy New Year’s Eve!

I know we puzzlers are a hard-partying bunch of dangerous, daring dissectologists, but be safe out there tonight everyone! As for myself, I’ll be babysitting my grandpuppies – it’s true, the fun never stops.

There was a time when I stayed up to welcome the New Year, but truth be told a warm bed and some restful sleep is SOOOO much more exciting to me. Yep, I get my thrills while happily unconscious; and I ain’t ashamed to tell you that either!

Best wishes for a safe, happy, and healthy New Year to all members of the puzzle posse! 🎉🥂🎉

Happy Thanksgiving/Happy Thursday!

It’s Thanksgiving here in the United States (and a few other countries), but in most of the world it’s just plain Thursday. Whether you spend the day eating yourself silly with family and/or friends or it’s just a regular Thursday for you – this is the day I usually let my readers know how very thankful I am for them.

It means so much that there are so many faithful readers of my insignificant little blog about jigsaw puzzles. I appreciate everyone who stops by just to read or look at the puzzles, comments just to say hi, or tell me what a cool puzzle I just posted about – or even to tell us all what you’re working on. I love my readers, and am so thankful that you’ve stuck with me; through thick and very, very thin.

I’ve been a bit of an unreliable blogger at times, dropping out for months at a time, but there are so many constant readers who are always there, and you are very much appreciated. If you only read and don’t comment, if you comment a little or a lot, if you only pop in once in a while, if you just like the giveaways – it doesn’t matter – I’m truly thankful for you all.

Happy Thursday everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it. 🧡🤎
