Not a good day, wasn’t able to put very many pieces into the puzzle. Got some done, but now it’s time to sort the twinklies and put them on trays because there are a lot of holes to fill!

Hopefully I’ll make better progress tomorrow, enough that you can tell that I actually worked on it.

It’s moving along quickly now, I’m getting to the end of the pieces without twinklies. There are a lot less pieces to go through now and it’s much easier to find exactly what I’m looking for. I didn’t spend much time on the puzzle today at all and I put in about the same number of pieces that I did yesterday. 😮

I should be able to have it finished in 3 or 4 days. Depending on how I’m feeling and if I get any help. Just have to finish the regular pieces and then it’s on to the twinklies! I’m excited about finishing this one because it will be the halfway point. I’m surprised at how much I’m enjoying it and how much I’ve accomplished already.  Not bad for someone whose largest puzzle completed previously was 2000 pieces! What in the world made me want to accomplish this behemoth of a puzzle?  No idea. But I’m having a wonderful time!

It’s coming along! A little less than 1200 pieces to go!

I got it flipped over so I can work on the top of the puzzle tomorrow. Only morning and evening though, spending the day hanging out at mom’s. She thinks it’s important that I get out of the house at least once a week, so I force her to spend time with me. 😉

Working toward getting all the leaves and tree branches finished, and I still have to find the right pieces to attach the flowers to the leaves hanging above the rock. It feels like it’s going slowly but the daily pictures are a nice reminder of where I was the day before and how much progress I’m making every day. It’s always nice when I haven’t put that many pieces in the puzzle but the picture shows that what I did assemble made a big difference.

It didn’t feel like I got much done today, but looking at the picture it’s impressive. Slow going, lots of green to sort through but when you fill in empty spaces it looks like you’ve accomplished quite a bit!

There are about 1500 pieces left to go, although it seems there should be more. Tomorrow will go faster or at least it will seem to.  Each piece I put into the puzzle is one less piece I have to look through.

I’m going to try to fill in as much as I can on the bottom part of the puzzle tomorrow so that I can flip the board to work on the top half later.  It’s hard to me to stand up for any length of time to work on the upper section, so I piece together sections on trays or flip the board so I can work more comfortably.

It won’t be long now, almost halfway there!!

More general filling in today. Nothing to write home about.  Making progress a little at a time, but still enjoying myself.

Basically what I am now left with is all green.  Shades of green.  Lots and lots of green. That’s ok though, I knew what I was getting into. I can’t really say specifically what I’m doing next, other than it’ll be green – filling in where I can.

I’m only a week or so away from being halfway finished with this puzzle! I can’t believe it! And I thought it would be taking me more time, so I still haven’t figured out what in the world I’m going to do with it once it’s finished. Anyone have any suggestions? I don’t have a wall big enough to display it. Should I start a go fund me page for a new house with enough wall space to hang the giant puzzle on?  Probably not. 😐
