Massive Munchies

Massive Munchies
Massive Munchies – Ceaco – 550 pieces

I had a good time with this one, I usually don’t see collages by Ceaco. This was another puzzle that my daughter suggested I buy when we were puzzle shopping together. She seems to know better than I do what I’ll enjoy assembling; perhaps I’ll have to take her with me on my puzzle quests more often. 😉

Fair quality, but pieces were on the thin side. The image was fun enough though that I wasn’t deterred.

Massive Munchies 1

With all the chocolatey and sugary snacks and cereals in this image (and in the stores), this was one of my favorites when I was younger. Mom used to shop at a store we kids called the “used bread store”, they had quite a lot of Hostess products and she used to buy a lot of these pies. I loved them warmed up. I haven’t seen these in any stores in quite some time, but this one made me feel a bit nostalgic.

Toy Story

Toy Story – Ceaco – 700 pieces

This one went quickly, but for some reason it wasn’t as enjoyable as I’d hoped – or it could be that it was my state of mind and had nothing at all to do with the puzzle itself. Sometimes I just can’t tell.

Toy Story 1

Buzz was the most fun to assemble for me, but he was a bit of a challenge. I assembled him first.

Toy Story 2

I love Woody’s face, he always seems so surprised and happy. Those legs are so skinny though, how do they hold him up?

Miffed Waitress

I love this image so much, especially the look on her face. And the fact that her name tag says “Joy” is even funnier! Not only did she get an extremely small tip, they left it in spilled coffee – this whole thing cracks me up. 🙂

This was the last of four 100 piece puzzles that my daughter and I found while out puzzle shopping. I’m a little sad that there aren’t any more to do, they were so much fun and the images were all adorable and amusing. I’d love to find more of them.

Pop Art Princess

This image was a blast to assemble, and I completed it in one day. It was many little sessions put together; but I couldn’t keep myself away from it. It was too much fun!

Pop Art Princess 1

This was the first section that I put together, both Ariel and the words “Your Voice”. Almost every part of this puzzle was not too hard and not too easy either – it was just right.

Pop Art Princess 2

Besides Snow White’s face, this whole section of the puzzle was the most difficult. The old hag’s face was pretty challenging, as was the word “Snow”. It was the last bit to be assembled, but I still had a great time and reveled in the assembly. So entertaining!

Owl Farm

Owl Farm
Owl Farm by Debbie Mumm – Ceaco – 550 pieces

Adorable image and a pretty easy assembly. Still, it was fun to put together and there was a little bit of challenge. Mostly what I was looking for was a “mind-numbing” experience, I didn’t want to think about anything other than puzzle pieces and how they fit together. This puzzle was exactly what I needed.

I think this was the first image by Debbie Mumm that I’ve done, and I had a great time with it. Owls can be very cute, and she has quite a few owl images; there are several that I would very much enjoy assembling.

I’ve done several Ceaco puzzles lately, and they’ve mostly been good quality. But it’s been more about the image for me. They have such a varied catalog of interesting images, and some of them are exclusive, so I’ve got to decide whether I want to pass on the artwork because of the brand. I usually don’t pass on fun or interesting images from Ceaco anymore. If it looks like it will be entertaining then I’m going for it.

Life is for living, and puzzling!
