As you can see there isn’t a puzzle currently on my puzzle board, it’s been taken over by a serger/sewing machine. I’ve been tasked with making cloth face masks for the family, and it isn’t as easy for me as they make it look on the YouTube videos.
I’ve never been that good at sewing, and I’m doing my best; but to say that it’s been frustrating would be an understatement. Ah well, hopefully I’ve gotten the pattern figured out and I can make a bunch and be done with it today.
I’m missing my puzzles, and hope to have my board cleared off and back to it’s original use very, very soon!
So many talents. What a wonderful thing to do!

Thanks Deb. Not a talent though; I’m struggling, but doing my best. 🙂

Impressive, and your sewing machine has several thread options. My machine has one, and I struggle getting it threaded properly. You’re an inspiration, perhaps I need to dust that thing off and put it to better use! That will be my goal. Loving you!

Thanks Sis! If I can manage this beast then you can absolutely get yours going, you’re way better at this stuff than I am! Love you. 💖

That is sad to see your puzzle board being put to use this way. Although it will benefit your family a great deal….its still not a pretty sight! LOL

No, it isn’t. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Hopefully I’ll be back to my puzzles soon.

Good for you! We’re finally adjusting to the new normal here in the Bay Area. It’s been difficult.

That’s what I did yesterday. These people that say they can make a mask in 20 minutes area whole lot faster than me. From cutting to finishing is more like an hour after the first one was more than 4 hours. It was all day to make 5! It is a labor of love to do our part in fighting the virus.

I had exactly the same experience. I have spent three days trying to figure out how to work with the serger, trying to find the right pattern to make, watching cheerful people on youtube tell me how easy it is, and trying not to screw it up. I must love these people to go through all of this! 😉
